The ripple compensator, also commonly called expansion joint or expansion joint, is composed of a bellows (an elastic element) that constitutes the main body of its work and the end tube, bracket, flange, catheter and other accessories.
Mainly used in various pipelines, it can compensate for the pipeline thermal displacement, mechanical deformation and absorb various mechanical vibration, play a role in reducing the pipeline deformation stress and lift the service life of the pipeline. The connection is divided into flange connection and welding. Direct buried pipe compensator is generally welded (except for trench installation).
The ripple compensator is a compensation device for absorbing the size change of the pipeline, pipe or container, etc. It belongs to a compensation element. Common axial, angular, transverse bellows expansion joints, can absorb the axial, transverse, and angular displacement.
