The ripple compensator, also commonly called expansion joint or expansion joint, is composed of a bellows (an elastic element) that constitutes the main body of its work and the end tube, bracket, flange, catheter and other accessories.
Mainly used in various pipelines, it can compensate for the pipeline thermal displacement, mechanical deformation and absorb various mechanical vibration, play a role in reducing the pipeline deformation stress and lift the service life of the pipeline. The connection is divided into flange connection and welding. Direct buried pipe compensator is generally welded (except for trench installation).
